Not able to launch IR/ID

Hi Experts,

I am trying to launch IR/ID loging into my clients network using VPN.

When I try to open IR/ID, it starts java web start but gets stuck displaying 'Download stalled' message.

I do not get any error message as such. I tried clearing javaws cache, changing proxy setting to none, adding the IP to drivers/etc/hosts. But nothing worked. I am not even able to ping the XI server.

Please help me in this regard.
