Web Dynpro selection variant

is it possible to save in WebDynpro on the standard selection screen save something like selection variant in selection screens in standard ABAP?

NOpe...

there is no functionality available like variants in WEBDYNPRO for abap...

but you can develop it .

u need to read each selection screen elements save it it in memeory (u can use export or import).

or use function module for that.

Hi,

Creating WD-ABAP screen variants is not possible. Saving the data in the DB and then fetching is everytime for a user is the only way possible. I have implemented it in this way only(which is the onlyway).

can you throw some light on the way you did?

Which table you used to store variant?

How did you populate it back to select options on the screen? what option you gave for selecting variant?

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

You have to program everything on your own so table has to begin with Z or Y.
