Required DVD for installing SAP ECC 6.0

Hello every,

i have little problem that, I want to fresh install DEVELOPMENT server for backup purpose, but when i check the set of DVD, their are many DVD, so please which DVDs are required for the same. I only know that their are

Master

Export

Kernel

RDBMS (SQL 2005)

so please suggest me which DVD is required and what label on that

Hi Ganesh,

You can find Media (DVD) information in installation guide from service.sap.com/instguides

Please go through the guide you will get all the information required for installation.

The installation guide you need to choose depends on your installation (ABAP stack only or ABAP+JAVA stack)

More over this, you also need JAVA Components DVD and JCE Policy files for your JAVA version.

Hi,

During the installlation itshall give you the link to download the J2se policy.

Java Component you can download from service market place.

Hi,

As Rishi told, download the JAVA Components DVD from Market place. But please note that on market place you will get the DVDs only for SR3 verison now.

To get the DVDs below this version, you may have to write to SAP and they will dispatch you right DVDs.

JCE files you can download from below link if you are using the SUN JAVA.

Yes as Saurabh you can get the export DVD or you can open a message for the sap and they will upload the DVD and sent you the special Link.
