In the Sales Views for one material, an extra plant has been added as a possible entry accidentally. Is there anyway to delete the view for that plant?

no you cannot un-maintain a view in a material master.
You can flag the plant level for deletion in MM06 and then archive it with SARA object MM_MATNR
