Hi.

I would like to know how to maintain the logical field group for asset master layout.

The porpose of our PJT is migration previous SAP system into new SAP.

When we tried to compare the configuration of "Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data", we found out that previous environment has the additional logical field as "204".

※”Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data":

Financial Accounting (New)->Asset Accounting->Master Data->Screen Layout

Which configuration can I add this?

We will await to hear from you.

Thanks.

Hi,
I found it in transaction code OAVM, so please go to that T-code and make required entries for logical group field 204 then assign filed name to the table name after these may be you can find it while creating screen layout for asset master data.

Thanks and Regards

Thank you for your promt reply.

But, when I tried to implement "OAVM" as you mentioned, the error "Entry A 204 does not exist in T082L (check entry)" occurred.

Which configuration can I define the logical field group?

Plz give me some advices.

Hi
As u mentioned that " Entry A 204 does not exist in T082L " . it means 204 does not exist in table level also ... Try to create the entry at table level, for that please do the following

Goto SE11 -> enter the table T082L -> click on display -> click on content ( beside icon of technical settings ) -> then execute without entering any data -> then click on the create button -> Give the field group tab and logical field group what ever you want and give the name for the field group and then save it .

Now check it in OAVM.

hope it will be helpful, if yes please give us the points.

Thanks and regards

Thank you for your reply.

May I ask you something?.
When I checked T082L on legacy SAP system, I found that the latest update person was "SAP".
So, in this case of new G/L, is 204 which is the logical field the SAP standard setting value?
※the legacy system installed new G/L. But, new system is classic G/L.
I'd like to confirm it before I will execute the way you showed.

I hope to hear from you.

Thanks.
