release strategy for MRP generated PR ?

Hello

Can I have release strategy for MRP generated PR ?

if answer is yes, then how to MAP below

PR created via MRP for 10 nos.

MRP controller changes the PR for 15 nos.

after the changes, we want Rel Str to be applied

Hi Deshmol,

If your existing release strategy work for normal PR , then the same will work MRP generated PR.

There is no special customising for the same.

why I am asking because, the production volume what we enter at the time MRP run is normally preapproved so why we need approval again for the MRP generated PR.

Check for the creation indicator.

It should be one of your charaterstic and the value of the characterstic ESTKZ should be B.

By adding this characterstic you can have the release strategy for MRP generated PR.

The other part of your question is not clear it should not be the quantity but it should be the value.

If value is there you can have at item level or at header level for a given document type.

Hi

If you do not want Release Strategy trigeered for MRP craeted Pr, then you can add the respective character as one of the requirement for Release startegy.

In future non of the MRP created PR will under go Release Startegy

Solution provided by one of guru is to have creation indicator as B so that MRP created PR can go into Rel Str..

where as you are mentioninging something opposite.

I want MRP PR should go into Rel Strategy
