Controlling are currency change

Dear Experts,

Please suggest me a better solution on below issue.

We have configured USD currency to controlling area before 3 yrs, now client wants to change the currency from USD to INR. The requirement is very strange as they had gone live 3yrs ago.

My co code currency is INR.
