WEBGui-Transaction - how to disable Startup-Screen with branding

Hi!

We are implementing WEGGui-Transactions to our portal.

Is there any parameter to disable the branding screen when starting the service?

We tried this and found that it broke single-sign on - the splash screen was gone, but in it's place we got a logon prompt!

After some additional research we figured out how to hack the splash screen and made the unsupported subsititution back to the classic "spinning wheel" animated gif.

Hi Guys I did check the note: 1236062 but did not say anything about where to set the parameter ~nosplash 1 to disable the splash screen in portal.

please help with the procedure or steps.

You've to set the parameter at the service in the transaction SICF!

Another question: is this parameter set on the R/3 homepage framework - Resource?

When starting the WEBGui, there is a startup-dialog-screen with a branding image and logo etc. displayed.

Hello Peter, what is your systems basis version? (SAPKB#####) It is probably easier to replace the image than to turn it off.
