Rounding Value / Scrap in MRP

Hi Experts,

I'm running MRP for materials - assemblies produces in-house and externally purchased materials. For both I'm having a problem. If I understand the process correctly:

1. For assembly

If in material master Assembly scrap (%) in let's say = 10%, in all planned orders the quantity should be increased by 10%.

2. For component

If in material master Rounding value is 30 and I create a purchase requisition for 10 PCE, the MRP should suggest buying 30PCE.

In both cases I can't see influence of Assembly scrap nor rounding value. I'm testing with MRP type PD/ Lot EX.

Could you please advise what shall I check to bring the rounding value/scrap into account in MRP?

Hi

It;s working fine.Take exp.

If in material master Rounding value is 10 , MRP type VB , Reorder level 100.12,stock 0 then it create PR for 110 nos

Same is for % scarp .You have to mention deceminal points then it is rounding

Hi,

The reason was I had created the independent req. planning in MD01 and changed the master data faterwards. Reorganization of planning & MRP list solved the issue.
