Unable to block & release service entry sheet using trx. ML85

Hello All,

Using transaction ML85 -collective release of entry sheet, (for a PO containing multiple service entry sheets), if I block one of the service entry sheet and then if I try to release the other service entry sheets for the same PO, it does not allow me to release them.

But If after blocking one of the service entry sheet, I save the changes and exit , then again if I execute the transaction ML85 , then it allows me to release the rest of the service entry sheets for that same PO.

Why in this way the system behaves ?

Is this the way the system is supposed to work or is there a system resolution available to allow blocks and releases independently at service entry sheet level even where they are on the same purchase order.

Please let me know.

Hi All,

I think my question was not understood properly.

We know that for blocked service entry sheets system will not allow to release unless we unblock it.

But my question is for e.g. if we have 2 different service entry sheets for the same PO and we go to trx. ML85 and block one of the service entry sheets and simultaneously try to release the other service entry sheet, then the system does not allow.

But if after blocking one of the service entry sheet, I press save button and exit , then again if I execute the transaction ML85 , then it allows me to release the other service entry sheet for that same PO.

Is this the way the system should behave ?
