fetch runtime data

Hi all

I am saving report with "Save data with report " option.When i view the report in Infoview its showing the old data. how do i fetch the data dynamically(latest/runtime data).

Uncheck the box next to "Save data with report " and save the report to InfoView and run it to fetch the latest data for every run.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

My report is having Prompts.If i uncheck "SAVE DATA WITH REPORT" option , Report is asking to fill the prompts as soon as i run it.

Is thr any way i fetch the latest data in the report as soon as i open it in InfoView with out the display of Prompts.

Well, do you know ahead of time what the values of the prompts will be? If so, then hard code the values in your selection criteria. Then you will not be prompted.

Although, I am sure you would want the users to enter the values for the prompts (otherwise what was the purpose of the prompts in the first place?).
