Hi Experts,

Is there any way to do the costing run for previous periods.

I would like to do std. cost estimation for 5th period, but now we are in 6th period.

System giving message as cost estimation can't be saved for past period.

CK075: Planning date is in the past -> cost estimate cannot be saved

HI,

IT is impossible. FYI, it is not possible to run for even start date from 'yesterday".

The date you specified for the costing run is in the past. However, the

costing type in the costing variant is for the standard cost estimate.

Because the standard cost estimate serves to calculate future prices, it

does not make sense to carry out the costing run with a date in the

past.

If you use a date in the past, then

o you can carry out the costing run in online mode, but the system

cannot save the costing results

Thanks

Hi

You cann't run costing run for past date.

If you like to upload backlogs, assign std price through MR21 for last period

system takes that price for last period

Dear Seshagiri,

It's the standard SAP'e bahaviour and there is no meaning in costing for a past date.

Also in my understanding

1.If your Costing Run date is some future date ,but the Costing Date from,Qty Structure Date,Valuation

date is on system's date, then the system will allow to release the cost and the same can be checked

under Planned Price,Standard price under Current Column in Costing 2 view.

2.If your costing run date is current date & the valuation,Qty structure date is some future date, then the

system will not allow you to release the cost.

check and revert back.
