Problem with Excel 2007 Compatibility

We have upgraded from Excel 2003 to 2007. Earlier we used to have columns upto 'IV", when upgrading to 2007 we have data increased Column 'MF'

But when importing the Excel 2007 into the Xcelsius template developed earlier , the columns seems to be truncated to 'IV' which is the maximum for Excel 2003. Is there a workaround to enable us to get the remaining columns as Excel 2007 has increased number of columns.

Hi Chandra,

Currently the maximum column in Xcelsius embedded excel worksheet is 256 (IV), you cannot import a excel 2007 file with data in column right to IV (for example, IZ) successfully into Xcelsius. The workaround I think about is try not to put your data beyond column IV and row 65,536.

I have Table From Column A through Column MF . I am using the Accordian menu and my source data is setup from A--->MF.

From Column AC ---> MF , i am displaying the line charts with the dates , using the source accordian menu .But when importing the excel file it truncates to Column'IV'

So the problem here is i am missing the remaining column values for the Line graph after column 'IV".Since u said that it takes only 256 columns, how do we setup our model to retain the columns for the line graph

Is there a solution if the data goes beyond column 'IV'.Here is a scenario

We have a Line Graph with dates which goes beyond column 'IV' say 57 days. How do we setup the remaning dates that fall beyond the last column ,say in a different tab.

Please suggest.

Hello,

If your data range is a table less than 256 rows, maybe you can swap the column and row. For example, if your data is like:

2009-6-1 2009-6-2 2009-6-3 2009-6-4 2009-6-5

10 11 12 14 15

You can change it to:

2009-6-1 10

2009-6-2 11

2009-6-3 12

2009-6-4 14

2009-6-5 15

Hope it can manually solve your problem.
