DB2 Tablespace page size 4K Limit

In 2006, we had installed Development SAP ECC system, with the default page size 4k during the database installation process.

Last weekend, I tried to perform remote client copy to refresh a sandbox client in the development SAP ECC system, I received many database error messages of u201CDMS container space fullu201D for tablespace BTABD. The tablespace BTABD reached 64 Gb, and the database is not expending anymore.

From my research so far, the pagesize can only be defined during database creation.

I can export the whole development database using SAPinstall program, and re-install the Development database using the original db export. This way all the tablespaces will be conform to today's SAP standard pagesize 16K. The only down side is I have to re-configure the transport controller, route...

If something go wrong, I will restore SAP OS files in addition to DB restore.

SAP has OSS note 362325 that describe exporting tables out of the problem DMS tablespace, and importing the tables into a custom DMS tablespace.

Does anyone has other recommendation?
