Support Pack Import

0 Kudos

Hi,

We are installing support packs for ECC 6.0. i.e SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA level 18.

Unfortunately Installation of support pack terminated due to hadware failure. When we resolved system problem and started to import again we are not able to run import process.

We are getting error message at CHECK_REQUIREMENTS phase as below.

=================================

Error in phase: CHECK_REQUIREMENTS

Reason for error: QUEUE_NOT_EMPTY

The tp buffer contains old, not completely processed OCS Packages.

================================================

I have deleted that queue and again tried but no result.

Can anyone assist to resolve this problem on priority basis.

Regards

Santosh

Hi ,

Make a backup copy of your EPS/IN Directory some where else and remove all the contents from this

directory . Then copy and extract the necessary packages and repeat the process and hope it will

resolve your issue .

The other easy solution according to SAP is rename the buffer file /usr/sap/trans/buffer/<SID> and try it.

It should be fine then.

Hi,

I think in that you have to little bit careful as control tables UVERS, CVERS and AVERS etc. tables also conatins upgrade information... and also updated by support pack upgrade...

Don't delete data from these tables until SAP suggested...hope it will help to trouble shoot your problem..

if you have any question then please update here

Thanks
