How to prevent iViews from opening up automatically

Hello Folks,

The navigation panel in my portal looks something like this

For eg:

Folder A

Sub Folder A1

iView A1-a

iView A1-b

iView A1-c

Sub Folder A2

iView A2-a

iView A2-b

Folder B

Sub Folder B1

and so on.

When the user goes through navigation by clicking on the expand icon next to the text in the navigation panel, the iviews don't open automatically

However when the user clicks on the link of Sub Folder A1, it automatically launches iView A1-a and same thing happens on clicking on the link Sub Folder A2

How do I prevent from iViews from opening up automatically?

I have set the Initial State of the iview to Close

    Check the Property of iView.

"Default Entry to the folder" , set it to No

    Hi Pawanjeet,

You can't prevent them from opening automatically when clicking on the link.

The DTN is designed to ope the iView if clicking on the link and to drill down if clicking on the arrow.
