Mail workflow - Escalate to manager

Hello

in mail processing workflow there is task TS14007925 called Escalate to manager.

It points to method SOFM->DISPLAY.

What this task really do?

It displays sofm object to manager? what if there are many managers?

Hi Radek,

This method is used to display the SOFM document to the manager.

I think if there are more than one manager, then a workitem would be sent to all the recipients and the manager has to execute thenm to view the document.

Please state if you have some other specific requirement.

But for sending worktiems different methods from different BORs are used.

Not SOFM->Display.

I wonder, in this case, how such an escalation looks like.

Display method is used just for displaying officedocument, not for creating or sending workitems.

So this escalation just forces the displaying of this document to all managers?
