LSMW doubt

Hi,

While doing LSMW for material master, do we need to upload data by material type; say like upload ROH materials and FERT separately; since in FERT we usually does not maintain purchasing view.

Hi,

The usual practice is to create seperate LSMW programmes for different material types,

you can try to club as many material types in one LSMW based on the Field Reference group.

while doing views are also recorded.

There are different views difined for different material type so it will create problem.

Yes that is better since , while LSMW recording it will be a problem if the materials with diferrant materials tyes are used as views order will be differrant.
