Account group function assignment

hi

I am using ecc6.0. not been able to assign functions to account group. please tell me where i might be wrong. i am trying to assing partner function sp to my account group and the error is

choose the key from the allowed namespace ????

Go to SPRO > IMG > SD> BASIC FUNCTION > PARTNER FUNCTION > SET UP PARTNER FUNCTION > SET UP PARTNER FUNCTION FOR CUSTOMER MASTER > ACCOUNT GROUP - FUNCTION ASSIGNMENT.

Here you can maintain the Partner Function with respect to Account Group.

Here is what i exactly did in my config..

created account group ztl1 copying from 0001

created number range and assigned to account group ZTL1

partner determination procedure with new entry as zt00

select procedure ztoo and double click on (select partnerfunctions in procedure)

new entries

sp

sh

py

bp

assigned partner procedure to account group (ZTOO -- ZTL1)

did i miss anything or did i do anything wrong so far ????

Here Select mandatory check Box wrt the Partner Function.

After the assignment you have made , go to Account Group - Function Assignment.Assign your Account group ZTL1 with SP , SH, BP , PY.

yes i did that too . i forgot to mention that. All functions checked for M and sp checked for N aswell

Means the required already exists.You need not enter again.

That pertner function already exist for your account group.

The path is:

SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Partner determination>Set up partner determination-->Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master.

Click on account groups-Function assignment.Here you can maintain new one.

Check that partner function exists or not.This you can do in:

SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Partner determination>Set up partner determination>Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master>Partner functions.

If that does not exists then define new one and assign it to your account group.

Use the same name that is there in Partner function.Don't use the Conversion name.

Check in VOPA you will have the menu where you can find the options assignong partner functions to account group

There is no such option to assign partner function to account group .
