IS_RETAIL Addon Installation

Hi,

I have installed SAP ERP 6.0 SR2 system.

We need IS_RETAIL component on this same system.

Is it possible to do addon installation IS_RETAIL on this server??

If possible please let me know the steps.

No addon needed, but you have to activate the business function set ISR_RETAIL. This can be done with SPRO -> SAP Ref IMG -> activate Buisness Functions -> SAP Retail -> activate.

BUT be sure you know what you are doing, this cannot be undone! Check for the documentation and sap notes. You might need to activate the enterprise extension EA_RET as well. And you might need to run the report RSBRAN03 in case you have additional languages installed.

Hi there,

You'll simply have to activate the IS Retail switch in SFW5 transaction followed by activation of EA-RETAIL extension. But as mentioned above, it cannot be undone except by SAP themselves (cost involved !!)

Furthermore, there could be some issues with screen texts like mm41 displaying Material instead of Article etc. Please consult your functional team to update certain views manually.
