Create Pre-define Date conditions in SAP BW OLAP univ

Hi All,

We have a universe build on top of Bex query and as per the requirements, we need to create reports where the data set is restricted on several different date windows.

For eg.

Report 1 - Retrieve data for only past 3 months from current month

Report 2 - Retrieve data for past 6 months from current month

Report 3 - Retrieve data for Past Year

Report 4 - Retrieve data for Yesterday

I went through the "Olap Universe best practice" doc and found notes on how this can be achieved for YTD, MTD....but how can I restrict my data set for last 3 months, 6 months and so forth.

Your help is really appreciated!

We are on BOE XI 3.1 and SAP BW 3.5

Hello,

we also talked via eMail. the recommendation would be to leverage EXIT variables in the BW query
