OB08 shows Client has status 'not modifiable'

Hello,

When I'm trying to maintain Exchange rate through T code OB08 in quality client, it shows a message as "Client has status 'not modifiable" , later basis administrator has opened the client,and now it is modifiable. But, since he has opened the client,the customising settings are also showing as editable in quality client.

I wanted to restrict only the T code OB08 as modifiable and spro settings has to show the same message "Client has status 'not modifiable".

Please advise.

Probably this is caused by the "<Client Role> setting in SCC4.

Change it to "Test" and double check in tcode SOBJ that V_TCURR has a current settings flag activated.

I have checked the setting in quality client for the view V_TCURR ,but current settings flag is already activated,

Dear Ramesh,

I don't think we can set modifiable status for the client at tcode level.

Perhaps in "System Change option" (where we can set whether modifiable or not at component level), there could be a possiblity of doing this either at software component level or at namespace level.
