How to restrict access on the project document on the roadmap ?

Hi,

Please advise on the how to configure the permission on the team members on the project to modify, check out, check in the project document on the roadmap.

because i have tried to login with others user that didn't register in the project member but this user still can modify / check-out / check-in the document.
