hi,
I used to let my "intro to SAP" undergraduate students play with the "plug and play" lab exercises which have one navigation and 6 other units for FI/CO, MM, PP(& PE), SD and HR modules. My students were happy with the lab exercises.
My two questions are:
1) Where are those lab notes for the plug and play" modules?
2) Will UCCs support the database and dataset for the lab exercises? Chico did until the end of April.
Thank you.
Sock Chung
Sock,
Thanks for the question.
The plug and play materials you mention use the IDES dataset. The NA UCC's both provide the IDES dataset on SAP ERP.
The course materials are available in the private workspace - in the Business Process Management library. I belive the materials you specifically asked about are called "SAP Basics Using IDES". Direct link to that course: https://cw.sdn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7222.
While you're downloading these course materials, you may also want to check out some of the newer content. The Flya Kite (integrated case), Fitter Snacker and Global Bike (GBI) materials also introduce business process and ERP basics and are very popular with faculty across North America. All are supported by your UCC.
Best,
Heather
