ALV grid to excel : last row datas are missing (Ecc6.0-GUI7.1)

Hello,

Some colums are empty in the last row by clicking into the excel icon???

Please note ,I must not use the print preview.

I have specified outputlen and datatype for the fieldcat but it doesn' t resolve the problem.

I had seen the same problem since the ECC 6.0 were released. All the instalations that I had been upgrade have the same problem in all ALV reports. even the standard reports like SE16N have that problem.

I asked Basis team to implement SAP Note 1429136 - OFFI: XXL_FULL_API Support for 1048576 rows in Office 2007 for &XXL downloads to Excel in Office 2007 from my SALV PF Status. This cures the problem of short (missing) number of rows in the Excel table. In my case, yes, it also cured missing rows problem when downloading to Excel from SE16 or SE16N.

Unfortunately, my problem is not that some rows are missing but that last n fields of last row are empty when i choose "Microsoft Excel" as preferrd view in list layout.

I've read correction instructions and i don't think note 1429136 can solve my problem...

any idea about how to sove this problem? I have it as well.

My ALV has 132 rows and 24 columns and when exporting to Excel last 19 coulmns of very last row are empty.

I don't think that Suggested Note 1429136 solve this problem because I have much less that 256 columns and 65536 rows.

Not sure if you have solved this.

I had a similar problem, but I found out that it was due to one of the Short Text columns having quotation marks (" ").

As such, Excel had interpreted everything 'Save to Local File >> Spreadsheet' way.
