number range

Hi, we want in one plant, for 1 type of products number ranges to start with "AA000001" and so on and the second product related order with "BB0000001". How to set AA or BB as suffix for the number ranges?

Dear,

please use of tcode MMNR for creating the no range for material.

You have to use exit MGA00002 - Material Master (Industry): Number Assignment

Also there are following Function Modules;

EXIT_SAPLMG02_002 - Customer Exit: External Material Number Assignment.

If you are talking for production order number range then you need to create two different order type and assign it in CO82.
