Cannot acces to BI metadata documents through Information Button

Hi,

After upgrading BI 7.0 from SP 16 to SP 20 end users are not able to access the documentation of a query.

Normally they could access it through the information button - query documentation tab but now they only receive a "cannot get document list" error message.

Should I give them access using a new authorization object?

Hi,

Are you saving the documents in the backend or in the CM in the portal? Please check whether the document integration setup is correct according to note 1049784.

Thanks for your reply.

They are are stored in the backend. the point is that with a SAP_ALL user I can reach the documents but with a end user profile I don't. So I guess that it is an authorization problem.

Please check the following documentation for the authorization required to view metadata documents (authorization for the query element):

Apart from that if authorizations are required for documents for transaction data as well, please also check note 573725.
