Dear SolMan gurus.
Why is IT Operator importat? The issue is following - why imports to QA/PRD system must by done via IT operator? I think that Developer could not only release transport requests, but import these requests to QA too. To import requests to PRD should be assignet to Change Managers. So, what is your opinions?
Thank you for you answers.

Hi Petr
As christiane said its an auth so based upon ur req u cn enhance the same.
actually in std flow
developer is a person who develops and release req to quality for testing So there cn be a team of developers working on diff req
but IT operator is mainly a basis person or Basis dept head who is aware of other changes - change requests which r moving into PRD.So main moto is that first he approves it & thn he moves the req to PRD.
So incase if 2 diff person r doing the same than u cn hv 2 roles but if it is same person forever than u cn have 1 role only or both roles assigned to same person.
Hope it clarifies
Regards
Prakhar

Hi Petr,
it's all about authorization. If you do not like IT-Operator role then remove it and allow developer to do the work.
Since you can also use aut. imports you do not need an IT-Operator to import transport requests.
The default concept/scenario is one which works but nevertheless it can be copied and customized to your/your clients needs.
/cheers
