Multi-level BOM through use of Infosets

We have a requirement to create a multi-level BOM through the use of Infoset. This query must allow for the selection of multiple materials (range) at the same time, for a given plant. In addition, the quantity available on hand, must also be included against every item in the multi-level BOM. Your guidance/assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dear Marge,

In my understanding it's not possible to create a multi-level BOM through an Infoset.

Instead sue this Functional Module to develop a small customized report which allows multiple

materials as the input along with the stock available at plant level for the component.

So prepare the Fucntional spec's contaning the input format,detailed logic of the report and the output

format with the help of a ABAP consultant you develop the customized report.

Use this Functional module,CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 (or) CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ.

n.b: if you allow multiple materials as the input,this may affect the system performance,sometimes it

takes much time to execute the report also.
