Hi Experts,
I had a Sales FOre Cast report in 3 different versions
Weekly View
Monthly View and
Quarterly View.
The Rows and Free Chars for all the 3 reports are same only the calculactions in the coulmns changes accordingly.
We are using Z version of 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN Web Templete.
My requirment is to futher enhance Z templete for this query to include TAB's.
When the user executes theSales Forecast report in Portal...he should be able to view
On Left Hand side Free Chars (Drilldown) and the report should be with 3 Tabs Weekly tab,Monthly tab and Quarterly tab
How can i achieve this

Hi,
You can use the web item 'Tab Pages' in your WAD template.
Follow these steps:
1.) There must be a container named 'DATA_DISPLAY'. Drag the Tab Pages web item present in the Advanced tab of web items in this container.
2.) Drag the analysis item already present in the Tab pages web item. Also, drag two more new analysis items into the Tab Pages Web item.
3.) Assign Dataproviders to the three Analysis Items.
4.) Now, goto Tab Pages property, and in that, Tab Panel List.
Click on the Tab panel to create a Tab. A window pops up.
Give the desired caption to be visible on the tab and in the sub-ordinate web item, give the analysis item. Similarly, create tabs and assign analysis items as sub-ordinate web items.
Hence, you can have your reports in different tabs.

Thanks for the update...few queries.
1) Currently i had Analysis and Chart...so if i need to include 3 tabs (Weekly,Monthly and Quarterlt) do i need to drag 3 analysis and 3 charts web items to the Tab
and
2) All the Queries/Views will have the same combination of filters and Free Chars...how can i include them in the templete
at present they are working for only first tab
Ex: If i drag and drop a Free char to the first tab and if i go to second tab i can't view that particular free char in the list and can't perform drill down

For Q 1.) Yes, you have to include three Analysis and Chart items.
and Q 2.) Actually, what you are talking here is regarding the Navigation Pane web item.
Through navigation pane, you can drag and drop free chars. But there is one limitation for this web item. And that is, you can assign only one Dataprovider (DP) for this web item. Hence, When you drag the free chars, the changes in the report is done only for the one whose DP is assigned.
Hence, it will not reflect in other two tabs.
If you have a filter pane web item and want the data to change accordingly based on the filter set for all the three tabs, you can achieve that..because Filter Pane web item has a property called as 'Affected Dataproviders.' Here, you can bind all the three DPs.
