Depreciation calculation

Hi

As per my client requirement I need to create a new depreciation key as below:

stariaght line depreciation

Acquisiton year depreciation to be calculated @ 10%

from next year onwards depreciation to be calculated @ 20%.

Please any body help in this regard how to configure a depreciation key for above requirement.

For this you have 2 options.

1.) You can create a depreciation key with % and set-up the period control rule that the depreciation start on the begin of the fiscal year (this is not straight line depreciation depreciation) 10 ,20 ,20 ,20 ,20 and 10%

2) You use straight line depreciation with the period control rule that the depreciation start in the middle of the year then 20, 20, 20,20 and 20 %. The result is the same (first and last year 10)

I prefer the second option otherwise you have to create by % rule an other depreciation key
