How to add batch characteristics in task list / or add a batch number

Hello Experts,

Is there a way to add characteristics or batch number at task list level. at the time of work order creation from maintenance plans we need to pick the values in a batch class characteristics and create a new batch for the work order. the batch number or the characteristic values we should be able to define at the component level NOT at the operation level. So these values will act like a template for the rest of the batches created on the work order from the task list components

As far as I am aware you cannot enter Batch data in a task list.

But there are user-exits/BADIs that you can use to default this data during order creation.
