CRM IC - Contact Person Create - Copying email/fax from Account

Dear Masters,

In CRM Interaction Center - After Account Identification, When i try to create a Contact person by entering Name, Telephone, email/fax, its taking entered details.

But when i try to create a Contact person by entering Name, Telephone number WITHOUT EMAIL/FAX, its creating Contact person and adding default email/fax to contact from Account ID details. I think its a standard functionality.

I have a requirement to stop this adding default email/fax from Account details when we left blank in contact create page.

Please help me with the possible solutions for this requirement.

Hello Kalam,

When you add a new contact of the account, the contact person will take the main communication data from the account and add it to the work address of the contact. Please be aware that this is standard system behavior.

If you wish to and personal address data for the contact you will need to alter the configuration correctly and add independent communication and address details. Kindly review the standard design for more information. Also please be aware that as standard the phone and email address of the contacts work address should not be editable in standard the details should be grey out and only editable from the account main page.

If you do not want this, you would need to enhance the component BP_ADDR.
