How many hierarchies can be created for a key figure?

Question is not much clear...!, are you expecting # of levels?

if yes.. upto 48 hierarchy levels we can create for char values. As you asked we can not create hierarchy for key figures...

Hi,

Hierarchies, can be either at report level display or info object level.

If this is at the report level, then this acts like a structure for grouping key figures or characteristics together.

On the other hand, if the reference is towards info object level, then they are used to group values of an info object together in a tree like format.

These needs to be either created or loaded at the modelling level.

Hi ,

i think hierarchies of the SAP BWcreated with the SAP BW for a characteristic value.

purpose is, division of key figure values using different values of a characteristic.
