Define Easter holiday

Hi All,

While we define Easter holiday as Public holiday, system does not asks for any specific date. But still we can see the holiday on a specific date in the holiday calendar.

My question is how system determines the date of Easter.

Hi MOhit,

SAP system in background calculates the date of easter sunday.SAP referes to this functional module *EASTERGET_DATE*._

when ever you define public holiday as easter sunday,system is progarmmed to calucate the easter sunday on its own.

to understand this,just go to SE37 and put this functional module and execute.it will ask for the year,give year and execute.it will give you the date of ester sunday for that year.
