Question 1:
Could anyone explain theoretically how does / do the cost flow from:
1) Production Planning
2) Plant Maintenance
to Financial account?
Question 2:
In which area (Is it in material master settings?) the production planning / plant maintenance capture the cost and pass to financial module?

Hi,
When you report costs on your PM/PP order, based on materials/services, there are relevant logistic documents that are created that, in their turn, create FI documents. Then, there is a CO flow when the costs are actually settled from the orders to other cost objects, e.g. cost centres.

In the material master you will be maintaining the Accounting 1 and Accounting 2 view.
Valuation class according to this you will maintain the GL account to be Posted.
when you do the goods issue to the production order the values are posted as accounting document.
