What is the difference between XI_Content and MainDocument in SXMB_MONI?

Hi

Please help me understand. In moni, whn i dig deeper into the message,

i see the various pipeline steps> i/b msg, recv determination..etc...

now in each of these steps...under payload section as most of you know we have "MainDocument"

Now here is the Question, When i use a BPM i happen to see "XI_Conent" in addition to the MainDocument content..

the main document is the actual payload, when i click on the XI_Content it shows me a smaller xml msg,

Could some1 help me understand this better?

Hi,

While the scenario contains a BPM, XI_content Carries information about the Process step being executed for that particular data and the main document carries data being sent.

In my scenario: i Don't see the MainDocument in the final message that the BPM sends to the receiver i only see XI_Content.

Does it mean that my receiver is not going to get the payload?

Could you please check the configuration of the step for which Main document is missing.

What is the status of the message in SXMB_MONI?

Unless it is failed, the receiver should get the message.

Check your LOGGING, TRACE settings in SXMB_ADM transaction and see at what level are they.

the Status of the message for the receiver is success, and the receiver is getting the message too, but just wanted to know why it is missing only for the last step.

For the Inbound message and other steps i see both of these in the Payload
