DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpSapEnvInit : DpIPCInit2 Error

Hi

I am getting the following error while starting SAP Solution Manager in Windows 2003 Platform.

• ERROR => DpShMCreate: ShmCreate SHM_DP_CA_KEY(rc=4) [dpxxca.c 181]

• ERROR => DpIPCInit2: DpShMCreate [dpxxtool2.c 462]

• DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpSapEnvInit: DpIPCInit2

• DISPATCHER EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN ***

I am not able to start SAP. Please help me asap

Hi Das ,

Try to restart your system and check .

Please go through the thread :

Change the parameter EM/ADRESS_SAPCE_MB from 128 MB to 512 MB and hope it will resolve

your issue.

Hi Das,

Have you changed any paramters recently ?

It may happen due to Queue Overflow.

Please go through the note : 916050 and it seems you need to apply necessary patches to avoid the

Emergency Shutdown of dispatcher.
