The requirement of Mat "X" in WBS1.1 is 50 and WBS1.2 is 100, are grouped at WBS1 using group functionality.
1.Is it possible to check the Budget availability for 50 Qty at WBS1.1 and for 100 at WBS1.2 element?
2.If the requirement are generated using advance planning then can it be possible to have budget control at respective WBS thou req. are grouped?

Hi,
I disagree with the Konda.
The main purpose of requirement grouping is to consolidate the requirements from various WBS elements on to grouping WBS elements.
In requirement grouping , Account assignment for all the consolidated qnty will be grouping WBS. When you do G.R of the material it is posted to grouping WBS stock only. Later it has to be distrubuted to the individual WBS elements.
So in your case, Budget availability will be checked against grouping WBS element. Hence have all the budget in the grouping WBS element.
The feature is more useful in a scenario where you would like to consolidate certain materials belonging to a specific MRP group and/or plant from all the projects and have a overall budget for the procurement of such materials.
In such case assign entire procurement budget on to the grouping WBSe and when MRP is run budget availability is verified and subsequently P.R is generated.

Hi JJSingh76 ,
Despite grouping the requirements at the Grouping WBS element, the actual account assignment will always be the WBS element which drove the requirements. Hence even the budget check will also happen at the individual WBS element only and not at the Grouping WBS element.
Hence the system checks the budget for the 50 qty in the WBS and 100 qty in the second WBS element. I presume that you are aware that the AVAC is only for the values and not the quantities.

Hi,
you can control budget for the values not for quantities.
