Asset Class: Negative values allowed

Hi Sapients,

For some reason the check box "Negative values allowed" is grayed out for asset class in depreciation area:01.

Any advise how I can check this indicator.

Hi,

I'm not clear about your query where you seeing negative value are grayed. If you are in AS02 then check the settings in AO21, and if the negative is checked in no then it will be grayed if its optional then you can be changed in AS02 also check the maintenance lever for its changes is asset class or asset main no or sub number is checked or not.

Also check the determination of depreciation areas in the Asset Class T.Code OAYZ..

Thank u. .that helped.. I tried the same in the past..it did not work.. but it worked this time.. may be i have done some thing wrong earlier
