Change Portal Desktop using URL Alias

Dear Experts,

I've defined several aliases in the file web.xml.

For example, i've created "portal/application1" and "portal/application2" aliases.

The idea behind this is to define different Portal Desktops using the URL Alias Option.

I've added alias to the rule collection to assign respective desktops

Problem:

Switching desktop is ONLY working for my first visit, in detail ...

That means, logon to portal using url "/irj/portal" then i can see default desktop.

Change url to "/irj/portal/application1" shows the desktop assigned to url alias "portal/application1"

Again change url to "/irj/portal/application2" shows the desktop assigned to url alias "portal/application2"

Then it stop working .. When trying to switch back to "application1", it doesn't work, keep showing the desktop which was assigned to "application2"

Can able to switch desktop only once.

Any ideas on how to fix the issue ?
