Issue with AET

Hi All,

I have added some custom fields in CRM 7.0 using Applicaton Enhancement Tool(AET). Everything looks fine but it is creating a new append in the standard table every time a new field is added. Is there a way like we can add all the fields in the same append(like adding to the same extension in EEWB).

It would be great if someone can help on this.

Hi Kavuri,

This possibility does not exist. It's neither supported technically nor by the AET UI. Each field can be treated individually.

The reason is that the administrator could decide for each single field if he wants to tranport this to the productive landscape or not, all others remain locally on the development system. This behaviour is as per the AET design.
