Error in Argentine doc. numbering for cc 1650, subs. 0008, char. R, doc.type H,,,

Dear All,

We were able to resolve this issue in DEV and Q servers and tested successfully as well. But in Production, we are getting the same error again. All my configuration is available in Prod. We are unable to trace out the error.

Kindly assist, when we did debug, we found this number range missing.

We found the root cause, as below screen shot.

Settings 000102 ia available in PRE, but number range is missing. "Is the number range maintenance is configuration or just master data maintenance?" It is not giving us option to maintain in PRE.

Could you please try to set breakpoint at message

SY-MSGID = 8A

SY-MSGNO= 127

and check which Function Module is called and issued the error?

Once the function module is specified, we can find out which customizing table is missing the entry.

We got the root cause, no range 102 is missing in PRE. Just wanted to know, if it is config or not?

If it is config, then whats the path? This is an emergency issue.

We were not able to raise this issue to SAP portal, as it is down in India.

Hello Shyam.

If you find the root cause via debugging, you may see the table name from where the numbre range is missing. You can use T-code SM30, fill table/view and click on "customizing" button. If it is a customizing table, system will propose the path.
