FTPs

Hello All,

I have some questions regarding the FTPs connection to an external system.

I need to connect to an external system via FTPs on port# 22. Sender uses port# 22 for ftp connection. Now in the communication channel of the receiver file adapter, I have set the port# to 22 and please keep in mind that the customer does not use certificates. Now is there anything else that I need to do? I had raised a request for port# 22 to be opened on the firewall to be able to send files to external customer outside the intranet.

The remote server also listens on port# 22 and I have a raised a request for openging that port in the firewall. Do I need to do anything else in the communication channel now? I have given the port# 22 and the communication channel is pointing to that ftp server.

I am told by my external customer that they do not use certificates. The customer is already listening on port# 22. an I still use port# 22 without certificates? in the receiver communication channel, do i need to set the "Connection Security " parameters ?

Help needed.

thanks in advance.
