UWL Issue

Hi all,

When we Configure the UWL, we are able to see the buttons only when a workflow is initiated. Is there a way through which we can view the buttons without any workflows.

Need your suggestions

Hi,

Each button is meant for a specific action in the workflow.

The list of actions & related buttons can be viewed in the configuration (XML) file.

we cannot view the buttons without the workflow.

path:

>System administration > system configuration > UWL > UWL Administration -->

>Click to Manage Item Types and View Definitions > current configurations

Hi,

Yes you can initiate the workflow manually, go to any folder and navigate to its Details -> Settings -> Approval, here Enable the Approval Process and add the steps and respective Approvers accordingly and just Save the Approval Process.

Now all the buttons in UWL will be enabled.

Without this approval thing can we initiate? like i read somewhere we can initiate workfloe directly through result set
