Hi Experts,
I am not able to change the Appr. doc when logged in as an Employee/ Manager. However, it is possible to do as an Admin. Guess its to do with some auth.
Pls help me in setting the auth levels for both roles.
Current settings for employee & manager:
PLOG, P_HAP_DOC,
P_TCODE: PHAP_CATALOG, PHAP_CHANGE_PA, PHAP_CREATE_PA
PORGIN: AUTH LEVEL: M, R,W.
Thanks in advance.

I have my id created in ECC with certain roles of Employee, Manager and Admin. It is working fine. Transaction phap_admin, phap_change... etc all work.
Logging in as an employee I am able to change data in say, Self evaluation status. Likewise logging in as Manager too.
I have created Test ids which are duplicate to my id, which have exactly the same roles. I can edit appraisal form as admin but not as Employee or Manager. The fields become non-editable when using phap_change.

Let's say,
When you create the form you assigned personnel number X as appraisee and personnel number Y as appraiser. Assign test-id1 user name to personnel number X via PA30 transaction 105 infotype 0001 subtype create. Then assign test-id2 user name to personnel number Y via PA30 transaction 105 infotype 0001 subtype create. Then, when you logon to system with test-id1 and call PHAP_CHANGE, you'll be able to see the fields enabled for the appraisee. Likewise, when you logon to system with test-id2 and call PHAP_CHANGE, you'll be able to see the fields enabled for the appraiser. This is how it works. I think you have nothing to do with authorizations.

Hi Ashwini,
While using PHAP_CHANGE transaction, the user's user name should be set to the employee number (via PA30-105-0001), the employee who is appraisee/appraiser.
However, if you use PHAP_ADMIN_PA transaction this prerequisite is eliminated and you can change any form.
You need to give access to transaction PHAP_ADMIN_PA to the ones who want to change any form.
