HCM Installation for SAP ERP 6.0

Hi Guys,

Can anybody let me know the components required to "turn on" HCM component in ERP 6.0 along with ESS/MSS in the portal?

I'm very new to this field and want to know step by step procedure to implement SAP HCM.

What is the EP version you are using?

EP 7.0 SP12

What are the iViews that you want to activate in ESS/MSS.? Switches will depend on that..

There are lot of them...I would definitely recommend you to go through this on your own and come back

For ESS check:

[Then look in the this link for all the available business functions provided by SAP|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/46/427046e4fc0dbbe10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm]

Here goto Business Functions in SAP ERP -> Enterprise Business Functions -> HCM (and check the functionalities).

Also for EhP3, search : "Release Note for Business Package for ESS 1.31 " and for EhP2: "Release Note for Business Package for ESS 1.2"

So MSS will on 1.3 ,similarly first read "[Release Note for the Business Package MSS (SAP ERP) 1.3|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/2e/5a5d45d9f24fbdb06be2ff53651c3e/frameset.htm]"

Note: Travel Management will fall under Accounting .

Read it and map to your requirements given by clients.
