Deletion of Custom Table entries that are no longer needed

I have a custom table for weeks in a year (1/2009, 2/2009, etc.) that is updated each month for the new month in the future out 12 months. This table contains entries that are not relavent and should be deleted so users don't see them inadvertently. I've tried to delete 1 entry for a month/week that doesn't need to be out there and it comes back with a message that says "Table /BIC/YZCALWEEK does not exist", but the actual table that has all the entires in it is called "ZCALWEEK". How are entries like this cleaned out?
