BEx analyzer does not display data in collapsed columns

Hello experts,

I have a display problem in the BEx Analyzer.

I have actual and previous year data in a query. The previous year data column is defined as collapsed in the query by placing the key figure one level down and collapsing the node.

If I now execute the query in the BEx Analyzer, the result shows me e.g. the 2009 data e.g. for all 2009 material groups. If I expand the previous year column, the 2008 data is displayed but only for the 2009 material groups. If there exist other material groups for 2008 data, these are not displayed. The funny thing is, a result row shows the complete sum of data for 2008 e.g. 1000USD, but the sum of the displayed data is just 700USD. Expanding the previous year column and refreshing doesn't help. Only if I enter 2008 as actual period, the 2008 material grous are displayed or if I expand the node in the query definition, the data is shown too.

We have BEx analyzer 3.5 and the SAP Gui 7.1. Could this be a problem with the new Gui or is this a general Analyzer problem? Or am I just doing a stupid mistake in query designing?

I would be very thankful for any advice.

Best regards,

Hannes
