Current Month (CM) is not coming in FGI0 P&L statement

Hi,

I have configured P&L statement in FGI4 through report painter.Here i have defined 2 columns.1 is Current month and 2nd is Year to Date.but while executing the report for P&L statement in FGI0 transaction,it is giving the same values for Current month and Year to Date.System is not calculating the current month.For current month column also it is giving the Year to Date values.

But client wants to get the report with Current month and Year to date both.How can i define this.Kindly advise me regarding this..

Hello,

For current month and year to date, you must use variables. The system must have given you some standard variable. please use them to solve your purpose. Do not hardcode the months FROM and TO. if you have hardcoded, in the next month report, you will get previous month report.

In FGIV transaction,Variable definition screen - i am able to see only the below given variables with the field POPER . the below variables has same field name.

Period

From period

To period

Reporting Period frm

Reporting Period to

Comparison Per. from

Comparison Period to

I have tried with all the above variables to get the Current month report.still i am getting Year to Date report only.please provide some inputs.

Hi,

Please check up some standard forms SAP has created in FSI5.

SAP has created standard form with current month and year to date. Please check up the variables used and include the same variable in the same form.

Hi,

In the Year to date column, select Posting Period and choose Variables 1PF & 1PT in the Form. In the Report excution, user has to give the From and To period. In the First Column, it will give month value (1PE) and in the second column it will give you year to date. Hope this will help you.
